MYJ | Does stress trigger cancer?

From one of my sources at AMPLIFY | http://altaloman.amplify.com/ | comes this clip about the suspected relationship between stress and tumor growth. All cancer patients, including those like me who are in remission, have concerns about this issue. Like them, I have benefitted from tremendous scientific and technological progress in medicine for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. But more needs to be discovered about the underlying causes of the disease. This helps. | HERE is a link to the SOURCE of this clip.

TQ | Was the H1N1 scare exaggerated?

Image
According to this source, a United Nations health agency will review the way it dealt with the outbreak of swine flu once the pandemic has subsided, said WHO spokeswoman Fadela Chaib. | "Criticism is part of an outbreak cycle. We expect and indeed welcome criticism and the chance to discuss it," she said, adding the WHO's review would involve independent outside experts and its results would be made public.

I guess there is no real surprise in this report, but it does call to question whether medical research and science could advance without a profit motive on either side.

MYG | Health expert charges H1N1 'scare' false

Image
Given the many issues or credibility in the world today, I believe that counting on truthfulness, candor, and honesty is of the greatest imperative and human need. This breaking news gives us all reason to pause and to consider our sources.

Wolfgang Wodarg | http://google.twi.bz/Cw | head of health at the Council of Europe, claimed major firms organized a "campaign of panic" to put pressure on the World Health Organization (WHO) to declare a pandemic.

He believes it is "one of the greatest medicine scandals of the century," and he has called for an inquiry. "The severity of the H1N1 outbreak was deliberately exaggerated by pharmaceutical companies that stood to make billions of dollars from a worldwide scare", Wodarg claims.

Wolfgang Wodarg, head of health at the Council of Europe, has accused the makers of vaccines for the virus of influencing the World Health Organisation's (WHO) decision to declare a pandemic.
