250 Days: Something to Celebrate!

Friday, April 25, Dee Dee and I with our daughters, Suzanne and Andrea, and Suzanne's husband, Warren Collier, visited City of Hope for the 32nd BMT Reunion with about 3000 other attendees. This is an annual celebration and gathering of surviving patients from cancer and the transplant programs. And, yes, there was one COH patient attending who had the life-saving procedure done 32 years ago.

At the registration desk for the event, all transplant patients were given a large round badge indicated their actual years of survival. As you can see with the inset picture, mine was modified to read: 250 days which arrives April 28.

While I am still on antibiotics in pill form, I have recovered from the recent bout with pneumonia and have been back in the office two days a week during the past two weeks.
