The week that changed my world

The third week of August holds particular meaning for my life and the Foxworth household.  It is the week (in 2007) when I underwent a successful stem cell transplant to cure mantle cell lymphoma (MCL).  It is also my mother's birthday week (19th) and my only grandson, John's, birthday (20th).

I am alive today due to the thoughtful donation of stem cells from an unrelated German donor, Torben Christensen, whom I hope to meet in person one day.
