at Glen Ivy is a unique golf experience in southern California. With scenic views and creatively placed fairways, tees and greens, this par 72 course designed by renowned golf course architect Ted Robinson Sr. is as pleasing to the eye as it is challenging. Woven through groves of citrus trees and the hillsides and canyons along the Cleveland National Forest, The Golf Club at Glen Ivy combines a signature course design with a serene reserve removed from the hustle and bustle of busy city life.
My latest round this week was among my best in long time since I scored some 11 shots under what I had done the week before. While I have never been a less than 20 handicap, I would like to score consistently in the 90s, or just play bogey golf which is and average of one over par for the entire course. That would be a 90 on my course and, this week, I almost came within 10 percent of that goal.
This time, my best score ever at Trilogy was marked by no shots out of the bunkers (sand traps) and no snowmen (8s) on my score card.
