Time for a follow-up visit

Dr. Nakamura is on our appointment schedule today as is another IVIG, the infusion of immunoglobulin to boost my immune system. Sometimes, I wish I still had a temporary infusion port because the nurses and techs at COH remain challenged to find veins that work for these treatments. Still, the results of these procedures makes the temporary discomfort bearable.

We are off to COH today for a periodic follow-up visit with my oncologist and for IVIG. Also due today, the results of last week's PET scan to confirm that the state of remission remains. Wish us well.
